canonical books of the Protestant Christian Holy Bible, which
is the very Word of God to mankind, as set forth more fully
herein in the Ministry’s Statement of Faith.
The nature of said Ministry is religious, and
as a religious corporation it shall also have the authority
to function as a religious, charitable, benevolent, eleemosynary,
and educational corporation, with the goal of making a positive
impact, through the practical application of the Gospel of
Christ, on all members of society of humanity, individually
and collectively, worldwide, with a special focus and emphasis
on ministering to persons with disabilities and their caregivers
by means of and through local churches, church organizations,
mission boards and other Christian organizations.
The purpose of the Ministry, which is to be
broadly construed, primarily includes, but it is not limited
to, the following activities:
1. To educate local churches, and the Church
as a whole, concerning the spiritual, emotional, mental, physical,
economic and accessibility needs of the disability community
in the United States and abroad.
2. To assist local churches in assimilating
persons with disabilities and their caregivers into the overall
ministry of the said churches, either as providers of charitable,
benevolent, educational and spiritual services, or as recipients
of charitable, benevolent, educational and spiritual services.
3. To spiritually edify and educate the disability
community in the United States and worldwide by providing,
by every legitimate means and technology available, encouragement,
counseling, devotional materials, educational materials, and
a vision of what God is doing globally.
4. To provide specialized resources, and other
necessary resources, to the disability community in the United
States and worldwide.
5. To network with other Christian ministries
focusing on benevolent, charitable, religious, educational
and eleemosynary activities for the disability community in
the United States and worldwide.
The Ministry shall operate
exclusively for religious, charitable, educational, benevolent
and eleemosynary purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3)
of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding provision
of any future United States Internal Revenue law.
